Moraine Valley Adjunct Faculty Association (MVAFO)

The MVAFO represents adjuncts at Moraine Valley Community College.

The MVAFO is a chapter of the Local 1600 the Cook County College Teacher’s Union (CCCTU).  The CCCTU is part of the Illinois Federation of Teachers (IFT).  The IFT is part of the Nation-wide American Federation of Teachers (AFT). 

Our elected officers are adjunct faculty members at Moraine Valley Community College and we volunteer our time to help you with union type work related issues.  

• We negotiate your contracts.
• We provide representation at investigatory interviews/disciplinary hearings.
• We can answer your questions about work-related problems.
